To be and how to be

I would like to love myself. I would like to love me irrespective of what others tell me, of whether anyone else loves me or not. Feeling lovable and having a companion are things that one must work on separately, as much as each may feed into the other. I will be true to myself, I will not suppress who I am and I will do so without being unfair to others. If my flaws and weaknesses are revealed, I will not try and shame them or whip them into shape, I will simply say Ah! perhaps that needs some work, but I am adorable nonetheless.
