In one's life, one is bound to come across a creepy guy now and again. Creepy guys (aka creepos) were in plenty in India. But after moving to America it all kind of died down. But yesterday, there was a rare sighting.
First let me tell you a thing about creepo. He is one of those guys who somehow ends up in your personal space when you never wanted him to. But he's there and there isn't much to do about it, other than be... open-minded. You think, maybe hes not a creepo, maybe hes just a variant of the mildly chauvinistic cousin or the nice uncle who thinks women should have a tad bit fewer privileges. After all, they don't directly ask your husband about the women he would like to get with from their undergrad days or identify a woman based on her bodily assets... in your house, during a conversation you thought you were a part of. But creepo, well, he stays creepy.
And yesterday of all days, you saw him unveiled, and you pretended like it was all normal, as if this is but the greatness of life, to present you with the living proof of creepos' continued existence as a species in this too civilized a civilization. In fact, a creepo now and again, will ensure that you are never ungrateful for all the times you weren't with a creepo. A jarring, but good surprise, surely. Only, it was a bad surprise. It was so bad that it took you a while to register that you were face-to-face with creepo again. So long since we last met! Getting under my skin as always, I see. Hide in my bedroom you say? What a lovely alternative.
