I had a good day yesterday.

It was the first day of school after spring break and I was happy to see everyone back in office, relaxed and chatty after what seems to have been an exhausting first half of the semester for everybody. Second half is only going to be worse, but we are all good for now.
After school, Mike and I went suit shopping for his impending second year presentation on Friday. At first I loitered around the shop aimlessly as he tried on suits, sticking close to the most colorful section of the shop, the ties section. But then I saw his head sticking out, calling me over and I loved the sight of that and I went over happily.I watched him as he checked himself out in the mirror critically, and the more I looked, the more was I shocked and thrilled. He is such a good-looking fellow.
After lunch and some more suit related activities, Mike decided I should be rewarded for my wondrous presence through it all. We headed to Barnes and Noble with the original intention of getting me one of those architectural legos. Instead I bought that myself and he got me the most beautiful looking, the uncensored, the actually grim Grimms' fairy tales.
On our way back, as we came to a red light, he leaned over, seatbelt on, and rested his head on my shoulder. It must have been uncomfortable, but he seemed quite content, so I kissed him on the forehead while he sniffed me and said I smelled of Paruuu.
Once back home, I sat down with my readings. After I was done with one, I decided to get my hands on the lego. I put the Seattle Tower together and I felt like a kid all over again. I was thrilled and I can't wait for more.
