The birthday was exactly a month ago. I am usually excited about birthdays, but it isn't the same anymore. I don't feel special and a birthday isn't going to do it either. My life is on a path- I work, I wife. And given that I have a relatively high-paying job and a fine young man for a husband, I suppose this is a good path. But I don't feel good.
